BEST SINGLETS
▫️
Classic lifting is where you are only allowed to use a singlet, belt, knee sleeves, and wrist wraps. So, maximizing the potential output with your limited gear is ideal. As an equipped lifter, I am always looking at ways to maximize gear, so below are the best singlets to use for classic lifting for each lift.
▫️
🥇Squat - the best singlets is the Titan Triumph singlets because it is the thickest IPF approved singlet and when you size down, you get a compression like sensation, which can potentially give you more security during the squat.
▫️
🥈 Bench - the best singlet here is the Oni singlet because on the back of the singlets, where the straps are, there are grippy like fabric, which will help lock-in your shoulder position during the press. The added stick can make a big difference on slippery meet day platforms.
▫️
🥉 Deadlift - Same as the squat, the Titan Triumph singlet is key here to give that extra bit of compression for your hips.
▫️
These advantages can be very small, but any potential output is always worth exploring.
